Lairg Wind Farm Community Fund

  • Area: Highland
  • Grant size: Up to £5,000
This fund supports charitable activities of benefit to those living within the Lairg Community Council area.

Langhope Rig Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund

  • Area: Scottish Borders
  • Grant size: Up to £20,000
The Langhope Rig Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund supports community projects benefitting those living in the areas of Ettrick & Yarrow, Lilliesleaf, Ashkirk & Midlem, Upper Teviotdale and Borthwick Water, Hawick and Denholm & District. 

Langhope Rig Wind Farm Education & Training Fund (Sub Fund A)

  • Area: Scottish Borders
  • Grant size: Up to £2,800
This fund provides bursaries to residents of Ettrick & Yarrow, Lilliesleaf, Ashkirk & Midlem and Upper Teviotdale & Borthwick Water Community Council areas to help them access training and education opportunities that better equip them with the range of skills needed to enter or retain employment.

Mary Janet King Fund

  • Area: All of Scotland
  • Grant size: Up to £5,000
This fund supports grassroots organisations working with young people to take up music.

Middle Balbeggie Wind Farm Community Fund

  • Area: Fife
  • Grant size: Up to £10,000
The Middle Balbeggie Windfarm Community Fund supports community projects and activities benefitting those living in the Thornton Community Council area. The fund began in 2017, and is provided by Netro Energy, the current owner of Middle Balbeggie Wind Limited which operates the wind farm.  

Middle Balbeggie Wind Farm Education & Training Fund

  • Area: Fife
  • Grant size: Up to £800
The Middle Balbeggie Wind Farm Education & Training Fund supports residents living in the Thornton Community Council area who wish to engage in study or training.

Minnygap Community Fund

  • Area: Dumfries and Galloway
  • Grant size: Up to £12,000
The Minnygap Community Fund supports community projects benefitting those living in the community council areas of Johnstone, Templand and Kirkpatrick Juxta. 

Minnygap Education & Training Fund

  • Area: Dumfries and Galloway
  • Grant size: Up to £1,500
This fund provides bursaries for the residents of the Johnstone, Templand and Kirkpatrick Juxta areas of Dumfriesshire to help support with costs for education and training.

Mossmorran Wind Farm Ltd Community Fund

  • Area: Fife
  • Grant size: Up to £2,000
The Mossmorran Windfarm Community Fund will support community projects that benefit residents living in the Hill of Beath, Cowdenbeath and Crossgates & Mossgreen Community Council areas.

North Rhins Wind Farm Community Fund

  • Area: Dumfries and Galloway
  • Grant size: Up to £3,500
The North Rhins Wind Farm became operational in 2010 and it will pay community benefit for the 25-year lifetime of the wind farm. Payments are made directly to Community Councils, or similar organisations, to use or distribute to groups that are active in their communities.

NorthConnect Legacy Fund

  • Area: Aberdeenshire
  • Grant size: Up to £1,500
The NorthConnect Legacy Fund supports community groups which benefit residents living within ten miles of the planned electrical interconnector between Scotland and Norway. This area includes Peterhead, Boddam, Cruden Bay, Mintlaw, St Fergus and Crimond.

Old Luce Community Fund

  • Area: Dumfries and Galloway
  • Grant size: No fixed amount
This charitable fund is provided by Barlockhart Moor Wind Energy Ltd; Carscreugh Renewable Energy Park Ltd; Glenchamber Wind Energy Ltd, SSE, 2020 Renewables, Greencoat and ScottishPower Renewables, owners of nearby wind farms, who channel their community benefit funds through this single fund.
