Foundation Scotland offers a diverse range of funding programmes for organisations working to benefit a range of communities across Scotland. 

Some of these programme are Scotland wide and some are restricted to particular sectors and/or geographies.  Each programme has its own criteria and/or outcomes.

We distribute the funds on behalf of companies, individuals and charitable trusts.

We are also a leading provider of community benefit funds in Scotland.

CLASHINDARROCH WIND FARM COMMUNITY FUND To support positive change by investing in a wide range of inspirational, community led activity in the Fund area, that is strategic, positive and creative and helps create a legacy of lasting impact Small grants: £500 - £5000 Standard grants: £5000 - £25,000 Large grants: over £25,000 Bursaries: up to £500

Applications for Community Defibrillators: Please read the policy adopted by the Panel on funding such applications, before completing an application form for Small and standard grants detailed above.

VENTIENT ENERGY GORDONSTOWN AUCHTERLESS, INVERKEITHNY AND FISHERFORD COMMUNITY FUND The fund will benefit charities and community groups within each of the Auchterless, Inverkeithny & Fisherford Community Council area Minimum of £500

A microgrant scheme for awards of up to £500 for individuals and families is run by the Community Council.

VENTIENT ENERGY GORDONSTOWN FYVIE AND ROTHIENORMAN COMMUNITY FUND Minimum of £250

There are now separate application forms for grants of under £1,000 and for grants of £1,000 and above.  They are also available from the Community Council.  They should be returned to:

GREENCOAT KILDRUMMY, LUMSDEN & TOWIE COMMUNITY FUND To encourage and enable the economic, social and environmental development of the area to support sustainability and help them continue to develop. Between £250 - £4,000.

A micro-grant scheme for awards of up to £250 for individuals or groups is run by Donside Community Council with an award from this Fund. An application form is available here, which should be sent to the Community Council at the address on the form.

 

NORTHCONNECT LEGACY FUND To support the local communities, to promote sustainability and to preserve and enhance the natural environment Up to £1,500

JUNE AND DOUGLAS HUME MEMORIAL FUND To provide financial assistance for the terminally ill who wish to spend their final days in their own homes. Priority will be given to applicants from the West of Scotland.
