Blackford Community Fund

About the Panel

Although the Foundation administers applications, it  works in partnership with a local  Panel. The Panel oversees the Fund and decides on awards.  The Panel is made up of local residents from Blackford, together with a representative from both the Community Council and Ochil Developments. Panel membership changes but vacancies are made public and any resident is welcome to put themselves forward.  There will always be future opportunities to join the Panel during the lifetime of the Fund as Panel members are replaced on a rolling basis. If your group has received a grant from the Fund – especially on multiple occasions – it is expected that the group puts forward a group member for the Panel  in the event of a vacancy– not to represent that group but to represent the needs and interests of the wider community.

Current Panel members are:
Andrew Sinclair (Chair),
Allan King (Ochil Developments), Irene McLaughlan for Blackford Community Council, Stuart Laing, Iain Paton, Gillian Brown.

Panel Vacancy

We have a vacancy for a Blackford resident to join the panel.  If you are interested  in joining the panel please complete the nomination form and return to  Foundation Scotland.  For more information on what the role entails please read the role profile.   The deadline for applications is 7th December 2018
