Islay & Jura Big Idea Developments

08 June 2016

Eight submissions were received from the pool of 18 BIG IDEAS that were invited to submit more developed
proposals. The Fourteen Panel will be meeting to review the applications and agree a shortlist that will then go to the public vote later in June. The Panel will be looking for BIG IDEAS that, in their view, enable new people to participate and/or deliver new activities not currently available to those living on Islay and Jura. This is one of the key criteria of the Fourteen Framework which projects must demonstrate.

Space Unlimited were on Islay last week and through some taster workshops at the High School, over 20 young people indicated interest in attending the Youth Enquiry that will take place on 14-16 June at the High School.

The young people welcome you to their Community Dialogue, 4-6pm at the High School on Thursday 1th where they will take the opportunity to share their ideas and get your views! All Welcome!!
