Hadyard Hill

Background

Hadyard Hill Community Fund was established to administer community benefit funds from the SSE Hadyard Hill wind farm. The fund primarily supports projects located within or directly benefiting one or more of the three community council areas of Barr, Pinmore & Pinwherry and Dailly in South Ayrshire.

Aim

Hadyard Hill will support charitable activities that support the rural regeneration and sustainability of Barr, Pinmore & Pinwherry and Dailly. Awards can support a wide range of costs and activities including equipment costs, running costs for local groups, staff or sessional worker costs, consultations, maintenance or refurbishment of community facilities etc.

How to Apply

Main Fund (£500-£5,000)

Please read the Fund Factsheet and  guidelines prior to completing the application online or alternatively download and return the application.

Community Council Small grant (up to £500)

Please download and return the application to your Community Council.

  • To contribute to the cost of Girvan's annual fireworks display for 2017.

Dailly Primary Parent Council

  • To pay for ACE activity days for pupils at Dailly Primary for three years.

TKS Martial Arts and Fitness Charitable Trust

  • To cover costs of hall hire for weekly Martial Arts classes for the coming year.
  • Amount Awarded: £1,124

2 Pins Community Company  

  • To purchase a bouncy castle to save hiring at future community events
  • Amount Awarded: £1,614

South Carrick Club Diamonds Fun Fitness & Friendship  

  • To pay instructor wages and travel expenses.
  • Amount Awarded £1,667

Ayrshire Rivers Trust

  • To encourage primary school pupils to think about the interactions and importance of river environments, in-stream ecology and woodlands.
  • Amount Awarded £2,500

Carrick Sheep Dog Trials Society

  • To purchase a marquee to be used by organisers, competitors and spectators attending the sheep dog trails event.
  •  Amount Awarded £739

Pinwherry and Pinmore Community Association

  • To purchase folding chairs and tables and bunting to use at future community events.
  • Amount Awarded: £2,265

Dailly Scout Group

  • To continue to develop young people's skills and progress towards adult helper / leader roles.
  •  Amount Awarded: £2,500 

Girvan and District Entertainment and Attractions Association

  • To hold Carrick Community Fireworks display 2016.
  • Amount Awarded £1,667

Barr Community Council  

  • To purchase a defibrillator for the village of Barr to be installed at the village hall.
  • Amount Awarded £1,716
