innogy Renewables UK Limited

Lochelbank Community Fund

Background

innogy Lochelbank Community Fund benefits people living in the areas covered by the Community Councils of Glenfarg and Earn. The Fund is provided by Innogy Renewables UK, the owners and operators of the Lochelbank Wind Farm.

The Fund was opened in January 2012. An annual amount of £20,000, rising in line with inflation, will be paid into the Fund for the operating life of the wind farm.

A Community Panel, made up of people who live, work or volunteer in the two community council areas decide how grants are awarded from the Fund.

Groups and organisations working to benefit people in the Glenfarg and Earn areas can to apply to the Fund. Your group must have a constitution (a governing document or set of rules) and be set up on a not-for-profit basis. It does not need to be a registered charity to apply.
