Achlachan Wind Farm Community Fund

  • Area: Highland
  • Grant size: Up to £10,000
The fund supports community activity and development in the Halkirk & District Community Council area, with priority given to projects within a four-kilometre radius of the Achlachan Wind Farm.

Beinneun Community Fund

  • Area: Highland
  • Grant size: No fixed amount
The Beinneun Community Fund supports projects that benefit residents of the two community council areas of Glengarry and Fort Augustus (including Glenmoriston).

Beinneun Student Scholarship Fund

  • Area: Highland
  • Grant size: Up to £1,500
The Beinneun Student Scholarship Fund provides bursaries for individuals living in Fort Augustus, Glenmoriston and Glengarry seeking to improve their employability prospects or develop a new career. It is provided from the Beinneun Community Benefit Fund which supports voluntary organisations, charities, householders, students and social enterprises across these three communities.

Caithness Futures Education and Training Fund

  • Area: Highland
  • Grant size: Up to £750
This charitable fund provides bursaries for individuals living in Caithness seeking to improve their employability prospects or develop a new career.

Caithness Futures Fund

  • Area: Highland
  • Grant size: Up to £20,000
Caithness Futures’ aim is to support and strengthen community groups that are delivering towards the Caithness Area Place Plan. In 2026, the main priority will be Health and Wellbeing, a secondary priority will be Employability through the Caithness Futures Education and Training Fund.

Caithness Futures Maternity Grants

  • Area: Highland
  • Grant size: Up to £250
Funding available to all pregnant women in the third trimester of pregnancy to reduce the financial burden of accessing maternity services.

EDF power solutions Corriemoillie Wind Farm Community Fund (Contin)

  • Area: Highland
  • Grant size: Up to £3,000
This fund supports not-for-profit groups providing charitable activities that benefit people living in the Contin Community Council area, including Jamestown and Tarvie.

EDF power solutions Corriemoillie Wind Farm Community Fund (Lochbroom)

  • Area: Highland
  • Grant size: Up to £250
EDF power solutions Corriemoillie Wind Farm Community Fund (Lochbroom) is a charitable fund that benefits people living in the community council area of Lochbroom.

EDF power solutions Corriemoillie Wind Farm Community Fund (Marybank, Scatwell & Strathconon)

  • Area: Highland
  • Grant size: Up to £5,000
This fund supports not-for-profit groups providing charitable activities that benefit people living in the community council area of Marybank, Scatwell & Strathconon.

EDF power solutions Corriemoillie Wind Farm Community Fund (Strathpeffer)

  • Area: Highland
  • Grant size: Up to £3,000
This Fund supports not-for-profit groups providing charitable activities that benefit people living in the community council area of Strathpeffer.

EDF power solutions Corriemoillie Wind Farm Education & Training Fund

  • Grant size: Up to £3,000
This fund supports individuals and organisations with the costs of education and training plus other initiatives that help to create job opportunities in the fund area.

Great Glen Energy Co-operative Fund

  • Area: Highland
  • Main Grants: Up to £5,000
The Great Glen Energy Co-operative purchased a stake in the Millennium wind farm in 2008. The wind farm is owned and managed by Millennium Wind Energy Ltd and is located in the hills north of Invergarry. There are currently 26 X 2.5 Mw Nordex turbines on the site. In full operation they produce enough clean green energy to supply around 36,000 average homes.
