Middle Balbeggie Community Fund Panel Seeking Members

If you are passionate about making a positive difference in the Thornton area and want to have a say in the allocation of local funds, we want to hear from you!

The Middle Balbeggie Community Panel is made up of individuals living, working, or volunteering in the Thornton area. It plays a pivotal role in recommending grant awards for local community groups who are improving the lives of residents, promoting community spirit and encouraging community activity.

The Panel meets approximately 2-4 times each year, and we at Foundation Scotland support the Panel's work. The role of a panel member is a voluntary one, however, reasonable expenses (e.g. travel, childcare) to enable you to take part in meetings can be covered. All new Panel members are expected to attend a Panel Induction Session, which takes approximately 60 minutes.

If you live or work in the Thorton Community Council area, are aged 16 or over, and most importantly have a desire to make a difference in your community, then why not get involved?
