The ABH Funds (Halkirk and District)

In partnership with the Halkirk and District Community Council, Foundation Scotland administers three of the local community benefit funds from local wind farms, for the residents of Halkirk District. These wind farms are Achlachan Wind Farm, Bad á Cheò Wind Farm and Halsary Windfarm. Collectively, these are known as the ABH funds.

Decisions on awards are made by a local Funding Panel, comprising up to 14 volunteers from the community. There are currently 11 Panel members so if you would like to join the Panel there is space for you.  The criteria for each fund is slightly different so you may wish to familiarise yourself with this before you apply. However, your application will be aligned to the Fund that is the best match for your group or your project by the Panel and Foundation Scotland.
