Meet our Impact Committee

Tobias Jung
Tobias is Professor of Management at the University of St Andrews, where he heads the School of Management and directs the Centre for the Study of Philanthropy & Public Good. Prior to joining St Andrews, Tobias worked with the Centres for Charitable Giving and Philanthropy and for Charity Effectiveness in London.

Sam Curran
Sam is an experienced public servant and works in the policing and law enforcement sector. With a commitment to public safety and civil liberties, Sam works nationally on the development and oversight of policies that are dedicated to safeguarding communities while improving law enforcement. Sam previously worked in international development and as a management consultant .

Kim Atkinson
Kim is the CEO of the Scottish Sports Association (SSA), the membership organisation for Scottish Governing Bodies of sport. Prior to joining the SSA in 2010, Kim was Chief Officer at Scottish Squash. In 2002 Kim was a public appointment as a Director on the sportscotland board, at the time Scotland's youngest ever public appointment aged 22. She is currently a Trustee of SCVO, and is a former Chair of ACOSVO.

Jennifer Wallace
Jennifer is Director of Policy and Evidence at Carnegie UK. Jen leads on wellbeing and policy development, a subject on which she has written extensively. Key areas of interest include wellbeing measurement, public service reform and community empowerment. She has over twenty years experience in management positions in the public and third sectors.


Susan Murray
Susan is the Director of the David Hume Institute and an External Advisor to the Scottish Youth Parliament. Prior to this she was an executive and non-executive director providing strategic advice and support to organisations. She was a founding Trustee of the ICAS Foundation, which aims to increase the diversity of young people entering the finance profession and was previously a Board member of NatureScot, formerly known as Scottish Natural Heritage.
