As Head of Programmes Helen’s role is to ensure the effective delivery of all grant programmes for Foundation Helen WrayScotland’s portfolio of corporate clients, charitable Trusts and Foundations and UKCF programmes. Helen and her team work to ensure that the programmes delivered meets the needs of the client but also are importantly meeting the need in the communities that we serve.

Originally from Torphins in Aberdeenshire Helen joined Foundation Scotland in 2003 and has held various roles during this time.

Helen has a Masters in Grantmaking Philanthropy and Social Investment from the CASS Business School Centre for Charity Effectiveness at City University London.

When not working, Helen enjoys, travel, reading, walking and spending time with her husband and twin boys.

Ros joined the Foundation as a Grants Officer in July 2005. Having first studied music and then secretarial studies with languages (Spanish and German) she came to community development by way of being a community activist in Edinburgh and a part time administration job with an Urban Aid project in the early 1990s.

She then went on to a development worker post with the Wester Hailes Representative Council where she was part of the team for 10 years. It is this experience of capacity building and a passion for community engagement that brought her to the Foundation.

In her spare time, Ros enjoys going to the gym, walking her dog, geeking out over gadgets, and superhero movies.

Jennifer joined the Foundation in February of 2005 as Grants Administrator. Previously, she worked for Millar and Bryce Limited for three years, setting up limited companies and charities after completing her HNC in Administration and Information Management.

Jennifer’s current responsibilities include assessing a wide range of applications for a variety of grant programmes and donors. She manages the Comic Relief programmes and the Volant Charitable Trust in addition to a range of smaller trusts and foundations.

When not working, Jennifer is involved with all things health and fitness and can be found in the weights section of the gym most evenings and has even competed in a bodybuilding show. She is currently studying nutrition part time with Mac-Nutrition Uni to qualify as a certified Nutritionist.

Linda joined the Foundation in March 2014 as Grant Programmes Administrator.

Previously, Linda worked for Deafblind Scotland for six and a half years as a Fundraising Administrator. Linda’s key responsibilities included looking after individual donors, maintaining databases, banking and claiming gift aid as well as providing admin support to the fundraising team.

When not working, Linda spends as much time as she can with her husband, son and family often going camping and spending time outdoors. When she can squeeze in some quiet time (which isn’t often!) Linda likes to indulge in some reading using her Kindle.
