Local residents wanted to represent communities on decision making Panel

31 August 2017

Two vacancies have arisen for local people to serve on this local Panel, making decisions about awards from the EDF Burnfoot Hill Community Fund; one representative is sought from Tillicoulty and the other from Alva.

This is an opportunity to help ensure the Fund continues to be spent on projects that provide a real benefit to local communities. The new Panel members will work alongside existing community representatives, from Tillicoultry, Alva, Menstrie and Dollar.

Those wishing to be considered, must be 16 or over and resident in the local community council area they wish to represent. Nominations forms can either be completed online at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Burnfoot_Panel_vacancies or alternatively contact Rosalind Becroft in our Edinburgh Office. The nomination period will remain open until 2nd October 2017.

To find out more about what’s involved in being a Panel member you can download a Panel member role profile at /communities/funds/burnfoot-panel/
In the event of more nominations being received than there are vacancies in each names will be pulled from a hat at forthcoming Alva and Tillicoultry Community Council Meetings.
