Wind Farm Panel Members Wanted!

Six vacancies have arisen for local people to join the Tannach and District Fund Panel.  The locally elected panel make decision on awards from the Tannach & District Wind Farm Charitable Trust.

This is an opportunity to help ensure the fund continues to provide a real benefit to local people.  The nomination period will remain open until 30 June 2018.

The Trust allows up to 12 residents from the Tannach and District Community Council area,  aged 16 or over to serve on Panel for a period of between two and four years initially.

 The Fund operates two deadlines per year and meets three times per year to consider applications and make awards, and keep an overview of the spend and ensure the Fund priorities are being addressed. The Fund has c. £55,000 available per year to support projects that benefit people living in the communities of Thrumster, Tannach, Newton Hill, Milton and Haster, a map of the Tannach and District Community Council area is available on the Highland Council web site.
