The Cour Community Benefit Fund

The Cour Community Benefit Fund supports community projects benefitting those living in the three community council areas of East Kintyre, West Kintyre and Tarbert and Skipness. The fund is provided by Cour Wind Farm Ltd, the company which owns and operates the Cour wind farm on the Kintyre peninsula.

The Royal Company of Merchants of the City of Edinburgh's original purpose was to protect trading rights in the City of Edinburgh. It was established over 300 years ago and continues to support communities in Edinburgh and the Lothians through their charitable giving.

The Rumbling Bridge Hydro Community Fund

  • Area: Clackmannanshire, Perth and Kinross
  • Grant size: Up to £10,000
The Rumbling Bridge Hydro Community Fund is provided by the Rumbling Bridge Hydro Community Society for the benefit of the environment and people living in the local area.

The South Kyle Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund

  • Area: Dumfries and Galloway, East Ayrshire

The South Kyle Wind Farm Community Benefit is providing assured income to the communities of Dalmellington, Patna and New Cumnock in East Ayrshire and Carsphairn in Dumfries & Galloway.

The West Benhar Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund

  • Area: North Lanarkshire, West Lothian

The West Benhar Community Benefit Fund provides an index linked fund of £150,000 per year for the communities of Greenrigg and Fauldhouse in West Lothian and Harthill, Eastfield and Shotts in North Lanarkshire.

The Zenobe Kilmarnock BESS Education & Training Fund

  • Area: East Ayrshire
  • Grant size (per household): Up to £400
The Zenobe BESS Kilmarnock Education & Training Fund supports eligible residents living near the BESS site who have started or wish to engage in study or training.

Todhill Wind Farm Community Fund (Larbert, Stenhousemuir & Torwood)

  • Area: Falkirk
  • Grant size: Up to £10,000
Todhill Wind Farm Community Fund (Larbert, Stenhousemuir & Torwood) benefits those living in the community council area of Larbert, Stenhousemuir & Torwood within Falkirk local authority.

Vattenfall Clashindarroch Wind Farm Community Fund

  • Area: Aberdeenshire, Moray
  • Grant size: No fixed amount
Vattenfall Clashindarroch Wind Farm Community Fund supports charitable projects benefiting those living in the areas served by the community councils of Huntly, Strathbogie and Tap o’Noth and the area served by Cabrach Community Association.

Victoria League in Scotland Trust

  • Area: All of Scotland
  • Grant size: Up to £5,000
The Victoria League in Scotland (VLS) are interested in funding projects that extend the hand of friendship to overseas students, studying in Scotland.

Volant Charitable Trust Large Grants Programme

  • Area: All of Scotland
  • Grant size: Up to £45,000
This is a large, multi year, grants programme which will consider projects supporting: poverty and deprivation; women; children and young people. Please read the guidance for more information on each theme to ensure your project meets the specific criteria under your chosen theme.

Watten Wind Farm Trust

  • Area: Highland
  • Grant size: Up to £50,000
The Watten Wind Farm Trust, formed in partnership between Watten Community Council and Foundation Scotland, has been set up to allow funds from different donors, pledged for the benefit of the Watten community, to be managed in an efficient and effective way.
