An Suidhe Wind Farm Community Fund

An Suidhe Wind Farm Community Fund benefits those living in the areas covered by the Community Councils of Glenorchy and Innishail (Eredine only), Inveraray, Furnace, and by Dalavich Improvement Group. The Fund is provided by Green Gecco and Innogy Renewables UK, the owners and operators of An Suidhe Wind Farm. The Fund was opened in 2011. An annual amount of £28,500, rising in line with inflation, will be paid into the Fund for the operating life of the wind farm.

A Community Panel, made up of people who live, work or volunteer in the four areas decide how grants are awarded from the Fund.

Groups and organisations working to benefit people in the four areas can to apply to the Fund. Your group must have a constitution (a governing document or set of rules) and be set up on a not-for-profit basis. It does not need to be a registered charity to apply.
