EDF Renewables Corriemoillie

Contin Community Fund

Background

EDF Renewables Corriemoillie Contin Community Fund is a charitable fund that will benefit people living in the community council area of Contin, including Jamestown and Tarvie (the Area of Benefit).

In the first year, the Contin Community Fund will comprise £13,566. This amount will rise each year in accordance with the Consumer Price Index. Payment dates for the Fund are pegged to the annual anniversary of the full commercial operation of the Corriemoillie Wind Farm, which was in December 2016.

Groups and organisations working to benefit people in the area may apply to the Fund. Your group must have a constitution (a governing document or set of rules) and be set up on a not-for-profit basis. It does not need to be a registered charity to apply. Foundation Scotland receives and processes grant applications but decisions are made by a Panel made up of local residents from Contin.

For more information about the fund read the Fund Factsheet.
